Fitness to drive after a stroke in Kreuzlingen
4 places for Fitness to drive within 30 km of Kreuzlingen – responsible services first, then by distance, all with phone numbers.
After a stroke you may only drive again once fitness to drive has been confirmed – this also applies without visible paralysis, because attention and reaction are often affected. The assessment is made by traffic medicine and neuropsychology; the road traffic office decides.
Raise the topic in the consultation before you drive – anyone driving without an assessment risks insurance cover and licence. With lasting limitations, vehicle adaptations are possible, often funded by the disability insurance. Transport services bridge the time in between.
